LAC ICT Policy Monitor logo: Image: APC. The CIPP – LA is working in a number of research activities in 2008. Using a mix of methodologies (including empirical tasks, surfacing the policy narrative, testing through examples, and examining the extent to which civil society organizations are engaged with ICT policy process and impacted by them), we aim to inform advocacy by civil society organisations at regional and national levels.

We are also producing papers on emerging and key issues for the Latin America region. For example, we are working with TRICALCAR to explore the regulatory challenges for the deployment of wireless networks for development.
