ICTs and environmental sustainability: Bangladesh baseline study

Bangladesh, like many countries, is particularly vulnerable to climate change. In recent years, electronic waste and other ICT-related environmental issues have become an increasingly important issue that policy makers in Bangladesh have yet to
tackle.

This new report by examines what is currently being done in Bangladesh and what policy makers should focus on. The report also looks at how and where civil society can help establish a comprehensive environmental policies where ICTs are concerned – particularly e-waste.
