#FreeAlaa
APC and dozens of other organisations are calling on Egypt to immediately release human rights defenders Alaa Abdel-Fattah, Mohamed el-Baqer, Mohamed “Oxygen” Ibrahim Radwan and all those arrested and detained solely for exercising their rights.
As a visionary, Alaa was among the first to recognise the power of technology in uniting and mobilising people against unjust and oppressive states. The life and fate of Alaa is at stake, the United Kingdom Foreign Office must act now to save his life.
Our courageous friend and colleague, Egyptian activist and technologist Alaa Abdel Fattah, must be released from his arbitrary detention immediately.

Today, APC sadly mourns the death of Alaa and Sanaa’s father and esteemed human rights defender and lawyer, Ahmad Seif al Islam. We call on the APC community to campaign for the release of Alaa, Sanaa and all unjustly detained activ...
